La Llorona - the Weeping Woman. A horrifying apparition, caught between Heaven and Hell, trapped in a terrible fate sealed by her own hand. The mere mention of her name has struck terror around the world for generations.

In April 2019, the timeless, terrifying legend comes to life in New Line Cinema’s The Curse of La Llorona. Set in 1970s Los Angeles, La Llorona is stalking the night - and the children.

To amplify the launch of The Curse of La Llorona, New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. Pictures are creating an art activation campaign leading up to this film's release, and they want to collaborate with you!

Artists, designers, illustrators and animators from around the world are invited to create one-of-a-kind static artwork for The Curse of La Llorona inspired by the latest imagery and teaser trailer from the film.

Whether it's an illustration, a digital painting, or even an alternative poster design, the judges are looking for captivating and imaginative artwork to help drive promotion and excitement socially across the film's marketing and digital channels.

Artwork will potentially be featured across the film's marketing campaign, including social accounts, print materials and merchandise. Five pieces of art will be selected by New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. Pictures, and the Selected Artists will receive $2,000 for each piece selected.
