Haere mai koutou,

After an amazing kick start of our 'Māori in Tech' event series in Wellington with Hori Mataki, we're coming to Auckland next month!

We aim to showcase and celebrate the best indigenous digital innovators throughout Aotearoa. Our events are for anyone interested in tech entrepreneurship, web development and advancement of Māori digital aspirations. Creating new pathways to apply technical skills for iwi, business, and Māori development.

We are thrilled to offer a Keynote Kōrero by Maru Nihoniho. This awesome wahine is a game developer and CEO of award-winning company Metia Interactive, producing and designing games and multimedia applications for entertainment and education. Maru is one of the few female developers in the country and has won a number of awards for her work in gaming and mental health.

Get inspired by Maru Nihoniho share her story, followed by a Q&A session and an opportunity to network with Dev Academy students and alumni, industry leaders and iwi organisations. We offer healthy fingerfood platters and refreshments for all to enjoy.

Time: 7pm - 8:30pm (Arrive from 6:30pm)
